It’s Time to Be Done….Snowing

It’s that time of year here in Wyoming. Where the weather teases us.

For a day with 70 degrees and sunshine.

And then the next day there is a foot of snow on my grass.

Yes, the moisture is wonderful.

Yes, I still hate it.

I loathe snow this time of year.

I don’t think it’s fun to play in.

I don’t think it’s fun to drive in.

It messes with my plans

And it makes it awfully hard to take photos in.

Of cute little girls in sundresses.

Or sweet little boys in plaid shorts. And yes, I can shoot inside, but it’s time.

Time to be outside.

With that. The tulips are blooming here. They get covered in the white stuff and then it melts. Covered and melts. Tulips are my favorite this time of year. Though they aren’t my favorite flower. Over the years I have photographed them an awful lot. So why stop now?

Happy Spring fellow Wyominites. Green grass and sunshine will be coming soon. I pray. L1L2L3L4L5
