Fires and Fried Pickles

Cheyenne has been surrounded by fires near and far. It’s hard not to love what they do to the sky at night and in the morning….. but awfully hard to feel good about taking photographs with those colors due to all the despair and damage. I caught some of them the other day, because I couldn’t resist. It was too much of a pallet of amazing colors to resist.

Also, since school started, I decided for an after school snack (and since I made a batch of fresh pickles a couple weeks ago, hot and spicy and wonderful) I wanted to try my own method for fried pickles with an amazing dipping sauce to go with them. There are a thousand recipes out there, so I just mixed some stuff together that was in the fridge, and there you go…. the best sauce ever (so said my dinosaur loving boy.)
