The next day, after the kiddos went to school, well most of them anyway, we worked our way over to wine country by Salem. It was beautiful this time of year as the grapes haven’t been harvested and they were still on the vines. And there were vines everywhere. We stopped at a couple wineries, I did some tasting and then we had lunch next to a vineyard. What a wonderful way to spend a day! Then it was home to get the kids so we could drag them out kicking and screaming for some pictures. They weren’t too happy about that, but we did it anyway! I have to say, it was pretty much impossible to get a shot where one of them wasn’t making some sort of face… but this is how they are at this age, I think that’s how they should be remembered.
