Easy Few Minute Couscous

When we traveled to Morocco a few years back, we had couscous for almost every meal.  And tajine. They are both traditional Beber staples. Needless to say, we were a little tired of it by the time we left. And also kind of tired of cumin (on the table there was always salt, pepper, and cumin held in tiny tajine style bowls, you ate it on everything.)

Before I had been there, I had only had couscous once. And now, if I’m in the mood for something a little extra to go with my fish, this in normally what I cook. And the smells bring me right back to the markets, and tables we sat at over our hot meals.

This is one of the easier filler/ sides on the planet. Seriously, it will take no more than 10 minutes to prepare. And you can throw in whatever you want. I just like mine to taste a little more fresh with the lime juice and peppers.
