I’m a natural light photographer.
Which means I photograph what is there with the given light. I don’t add sky overlays, I don’t add sunbeams. I don’t add and I don’t take away. Yes I do edit everything I shoot, in my own natural way. Which at times is not what is popular. It’s not what everyone else is doing. but that is me.
What is in front of me is what I shoot.
And she… was one of the most natural girls I’ve ever had in front of my camera. I knew she knew how to pose. Because she just did. I’ve been behind a camera long enough to know that when I say, keep moving, change the movements, and they do… it’s just there.
She’s bright and vivacious and had a flat tire in the middle of the shoot. And if you think that put a kink in things… it’s didn’t.
I love my job. I love this part of my job. I love seeing what kids do after this. After they are done. And I can’t wait to see what she does. I have no doubt it will be awesome.
