Family isn’t about last name or blood.
It’s about the people who love you unconditionally.
It doesn’t matter the period of time in between, they will always be my family.
I am a lucky woman to have an ex-sister-law.
I may have an unusual family life. But it’s the way I believe it should be. We can all care about each other. And we do. And always will.
They are not my blood.
But they will always be considered my family.
