Tiny

She was so tiny, just a little over 5 pounds.

She fit in my hands.

She fit in their hands perfectly.

It was a beautiful sunshiny day and the sunlight was hitting their kitchen like that’s where we were meant to be. A pretty little girl and a yellow wall. It was just perfect.

She slept like a rock star.

And her older brother…. my goodness he was so gentle with her. Nervous, but very gentle. So sweet.

Seems like just a minute ago she was telling me she was pregnant… and now she’s already here. They are 4. And life will be chaotic for a little bit, they will sleep less… but it will go by so quickly. She will be sitting up before I know it!!!
