Well, we rang in the New Year in the right way….with champagne, a ball drop, great friends and a toast with milk to end the night. Perfect ending and perfect beginning. I discovered a new recipe for a champagne cocktail. Put it in your back pocket for next time you crack a bottle. It doesn’t have to be New Years, it can be a normal Wednesday night. (though I probably don’t recommend doing that every Wednesday night, but to each their own I guess! ) We also had Crab Bisque (which I will share the recipe for later today and some awesome desserts) but honestly, it was the easiest meal I’ve cooked in ages. I don’t know about you guys, but slaving in the kitchen has worn me down!
So, here’s to a New Year. 2014! Wipe your slate clean. Remember what’s important, and what isn’t so much.
