The old house has had a few updates in the last couple of months. We’ve been enjoying everything single thing that gets done around here.
We replaced the carpet in the loft.
It’s creamy now.
Brighter than before and MUCH softer. (It had flat office type carpet in it before, not terrible, but not me.) We also had a strip of it put up the stairs because 1. The stairs were in rough shape in the middle, and would be very hard to refinish and 2. It was really scary coming down them in your socks and bare feet. I don’t want grandparents falling down them.
We also, finally, had the upper deck put on.
And it was WORTH the wait.
It’s all no maintinence. I will never have to paint it. *singing* Awesome!
I slept on it for the first 4 nights I had it. Also awesome. It’s hidden in the trees. Kind of. It’s a perfect place for a cup of coffee. A glass of wine. A pizza with the family. *singing again* LOVE IT!.
