I have a very small family.
A large extended family, probably related to half of county in this particular area. But the family I have spent my life with is very very small.
And now it is smaller.
I lost my uncle. My Godfather. A man who I spent most holidays with. A man who has seen all my milestones. Kissed me at each event. Who I knew loved me.
The community and my extended family have been amazing. We have been fed. We have been pampered. We have seen first hand the love of others in a time of need. And for that….we are so thankful.
