48 Hours

Less than 48 hours I was shooting under this tree.

Its leaves were blazing.

Perfect autumn hues. Burgundy. Burnt orange. Mustard yellow.

A little girl was giggling and grabbing them.

And today… they cover the ground.

48 hours.

That’s all it took for them to fall.

It’s my job to find the colors.

It’s my job to find them in the most ordinary places hidden away.

I search them out. Praying that they will last just one more day.

Guys…

Seek that color. Or at least notice it. Be thankful for that moment. Those colors. Those burgundies, burnt oranges and mustard yellows.
