Too often we get caught up in catching moments with the little ones that we forget there is a whole other group of kids that need to captured. The grown up kids. The kids who don’t live at home any more. The kids with kids of their own. The kids with careers and lives and husbands and wives. But guys…at that age, you are still your parents kids. Even when the kids go to college, it’s still ok to make them come back for photos. Even when they live in other states… it’s ok to still want photos.
I love the little ones so very much. But I also love good mom squeezes with the grown ones. Or making dad laugh. Or cuddles with all the siblings.
I don’t often shoot larger families, I have a cut off of about 10 people, because I feel the spontaneity is lost the more people you have. It becomes too posed.
But this family…. Oh my gosh…. we laughed the entire time. Seriously.
And they were ALL gorgeous. Seriously.
