Evening in the Country

She wrote and said “we’ve got permission to shoot at the most awesome place!”

And I knew that it would be awesome.

When we arrived, much like all the kids, my senses were completely overwhelmed. It was such an amazing place to get to hang out for just a little while. And I didn’t even notice my eyes itching like mad. And I didn’t notice the sneezing. All I noticed was the amazing beauty of what this place had become and what it once was. Incredible to say the least. And I didn’t even know where to start… but when I did, there wasn’t a bad place to go.

To say we got some epic pictures this time around, is an understatement. They only get better with this family that I’ve been shooting for 8 years now. I’ve helped them welcome babies. And soon (don’t worry, not too terribly soon) I hope to help them usher their son out of high school…my job, I say over and over, amazes me. It amazes me that I GET to do this. I am lucky to say the least.
