Happy

“You know, sometimes you just have to do what makes you happy…”

I hugged her and said “I am so happy for you then.”

They laughed together. A lot. And I know my camera made her a bit uncomfortable. But it was ok. Because laughing and silliness made it ok. I loved that.

The wind was blowing in a place where the wind rarely blows. So we hid in a cove by the river.  I had grand visions of the swinging bridge, terraces….but the wind was blowing really really hard. And my dreams were a bit crushed, but we had a really fun time anyway. I normally do, wherever I am (and guys I have shot next to garbage cans and had a blast!)

But they didn’t care about the wind. Not really. They played like they always have. Full of energy. The boys were boys as they always have been.  And the girls just said “oh well” to their hair…. this is how we look today.

That is just how it should be.

And they are just as they should be.
