The Stations

A while back, I made a quick trip to a little town not far from here. Pine Bluffs. I wanted to scout out some locations, but I also wanted to make a stop to see the “Our Lady of Peace” shrine (commissioned  by Robert Fida), I had seen it from the interstate, but never made it a point to go visit it.

It’s kind of a strange attraction, given it’s out in the middle of nowhere. But it’s beautiful none-the-less. I was also pleasantly surprised to find the stations of the cross were there as well.  I was much older when I first saw the stations, acted out, and it made the reality of what happened during that time much clearer to me. I thought today, being good Friday, as an appropriate day to share these images I took while I was there.

Stacey — These are amazing! You should share them with the Diocese of Cheyenne – they might like to buy them! Thank you for sharing them here. I have never stopped, either…didn’t know the Stations are there. This is a wonderful Easter treat.
