So the summer list was a super great idea at my house. For some reason the whole family thrives on lists. It gives us goals. My husband was all over it, like it was some sort of mission saying things like “well, what are we going to do today? You know, we need to get some things checked off the sunshine summertime list.” The Dino Dude was also able to check things off when he wasn’t even home (thanks dad for taking him in fossil digging, the giants rocks he hauled home are now in his bedroom!) We didn’t get everything done (i.e. the zoo and waterworld, but I just counted the whole Alaska experience as the zoo, I mean they do have giant stuffed polar bears in the airport.)
So now that September is here, it’s time to start working on a new list. My handwriting in chalk proved to be hard to read, so I decided to create this. The font is called Parker’s Hand…. I think that’s pretty appropriate. Join me if you like! We have until Thanksgiving to get everything done!
